How do I backup my private key in the Metal Wallet?

In this support article, you'll find helpful information on how to export your private key, save it for easy access in your browser, and understand the importance of keeping your private key safe and secure.

Step 1: Go to the Metal Wallet website and click on the Access Wallet button to log into your account. If you need a bit more help, check out the how do I log into my account article.
 

Step 2: Select the Manage Keys tab on the left menu, then click on the Export Keys option. You'll get a .json file and will need to set a password. Make sure to keep this file in a safe and secure place. It will be named something like this: METAL_2022-09-22T13_48_15.031Z.json
