How do I restore an account using a private key or seed phrase on the WebAuth mobile wallet?

The WebAuth Wallet is the official wallet of XPR Network and METAL Blockchain – faster, more powerful, and more secure than before, but built by the same team that you know and trust. And much like its predecessor, it is a non-custodial wallet - meaning the Private Keys are stored locally on your device.

⚠️ If you are planning to migrate your XPR Network and Metal Blockchain accounts to the WebAuth app, we strongly recommend backing up your private keys before proceeding.

Before starting

• IMPORTANT: Backup your Private Keys from the WebAuth Wallet
• An XPR Network private key will only restore the XPR Network account. A Metal Blockchain private key will only restore the Metal Blockchain account. The 12 word seed phrase mnemonic will recover both accounts.

Detailed Steps

Step 1: Open WebAuth on your device.

Step 2: Tap on the ‘Login’ link on the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Click 'Import Account'

Step 4: Enter your private key or mnemonic phrase in the field provided. 

Step 5: Your XPR Network account has been restored on WebAuth from your private key!
